Description

Extremely rare specimen. Due to its morphology, it is a manus claw  belonging to an small-medium sized theropod dinosaur. It is very difficult to arrive at a precise taxonomic assignment and ID when only one isolated claw is available. Be that as it may, it is a jewel worthy of the most exquisite collectors.

Its morphology does not match any of the officially described theropods dinosaurs from Niger. Although its morphology is reminiscent of some small theropods of the family Alvarezsauridae, a precise taxonomic assignment cannot be made, until there is more literature to compare with, as well as new discoveries.

Observations: The claw its an absolute astonishing pretty specimen, with a dark shining black color. Not restored or glued. Just the tip is missing. Very unusual fossil piece.
